FIAMMISAYS: YES AND NO of APRIL 2013 (THE SPRINGTIME)

Eccoci… questo è il DECIMO appuntamento con la mia rubrica “FIAMMISAYS” partita a Luglio 2012. Per una introduzione e breve descrizione di questa mia nuova “avventura”, guarda QUI (ci puoi trovare tutti gli altri appuntamenti)

MOTHER
(for those who, like me, is looking forward to this Spring to get dressed in the colors of the sun- per chi, come me, non vede l’ora che arrivi questa Primavera per vestirsi con i colori del sole)

YES TO:

• THE SILVER SHOES, the real MUST HAVE for this Spring! I really like them a lot, I’ve seen many around, but still have not decided which ones to buy (I was not really convinced by the low cost one’s live view). They are the new black, then you can match them with everything, but with everything, even with the gold and the metal. So beautiful the pumps, so usable the flat shoes, ok also the sneakers.
• LE SCARPE SILVER, il vero MUST HAVE di questa Primavera!! Mi piacciono davvero un sacco, ne ho viste tantissime in giro, ma ancora non ho deciso quali acquistare (quelle low cost viste dal vivo non mi hanno proprio convinta). Sono il nuovo “nero”, le puoi abbinare con tutto, ma proprio con tutto, anche con l’oro e con il metal. Stupende le decolleté, portabilissime le ballerine, ok anche le sneakers.

• THE ORANGE, also called “DARK YELLOW”, which I loved so much (the yellow I mean) last year and that this year is perfect for my little girl. For us moms I recommend the orange, a nice and warm color to match with the floral prints, with blue, with white. An orange sweatshirt can not miss in your spring wardrobe, it is already hanging in mine…;-)
• L’ARANCIONE, anche detto “GIALLO SCURO”, che ho amato tantissimo (il giallo intendo) l’anno scorso e che è perfetto quest’anno per la mia bambina. Per noi mamme consiglio di passare all’arancione, colore caldo e bellissimo da abbinare con le stampe fiorite, con il blu, con il bianco. Una felpa arancione non può mancare nel tuo armadio primaverile, nel mio è già appesa. 🙂

• THE TECHNICAL FABRICS, almost performative that make clothing as sculptures. Shaped and structured cuts and apparent rigidity, make the clothes more wearable and practical. Not exactly elegant, but perfectly suitable for everyday. The coloured garments made ​​with these fabrics are really wonderful.
• I TESSUTI TECNICI , quasi performati che rendono i capi di abbigliamento come delle sculture. Tagli sagomati e strutturati e rigidità apparenti rendono gli abiti ancora più vestibili e pratici. Non propriamente eleganti, ma adattissimi per tutti i giorni. Meravigliosi i capi colorati realizzati con questi materiali.

NO TO:

• THE ALL FLOWERED, even the shoes. I want to clarify, I love flowers and I’d have brought home every single flower print I’ve seen, but when something is enough, it is enough. The total flowered look is not allowed. If you like flowered clothes, combine them with neutral and monochrome accessories. If you prefer accessories with floral prints, the clothes must be sober and in plain colors. Ok? I would not want to see you around with blazers, trousers, shirt, shoes and bag all flowered. Not even if you are Lady Gaga.
• IL TUTTO FIORITO, anche le scarpe. Preciso, adoro i fiori ed avrei portato a casa ogni singola stampa fiorita che ho visto, ma quando è troppo è troppo. Il look TUTTO fiorito non è ammesso. Se ti piacciono i capi a fiori, abbinali con accessori neutri e monocromatici. Se preferisci gli accessori con stampe floreali, i vestiti devono essere sobri e in tinte unite. Ok?? Non vorrei vederti in giro con blazer, pantaloni, camicia, scarpe e borsa tutti a fiori. Nemmeno sei sei Lady Gaga.

• THE TRASPARENCIES, are we able to wait for the summer? Or do we  feel too muche the need to show our underwear, because, sooner or later, two rays of the sun will sprout? Come on, you know you’re not ready yet, expect to be even a little tanned and the games of transparencies will be much more successful. Do not undress immediately, start gradually your race towards the summer, ok??
• LE TRASPARENZE, ce la facciamo ad aspettare l’estate? O sentiamo troppo il bisogno di mostrare la nostra biancheria intima, visto che, prima o poi, spunteranno due raggi di sole? Dai, lo so che non sei ancora pronta, aspetta di essere anche un pò abbronzata ed i giochi di trasparenze risulteranno molto più riusciti. Non ci spogliamo subito, iniziamo gradatamente la nostra corsa verso l’estate, ok??

• THE FUR FOR SPRING, I know, I know that well-known and wonderful brands (one of those I love it really) made beautiful fur for Spring, but, personally, I find them really exaggerated. It is true that fashion now, has no more rules, (trow away the tights, as my friend PATTI says,  also in December, the UGG are perfect for going to the beach in August and silk is the most common material sold inwinter), but I really do not like the in summer. There is the sun, let’s warm up to it and, at worst, a trench coat or a leather jacket for the cooler evenings.
• LA PELLICCIA IN PRIMAVERA, lo so. lo so che noti e meravigliosi marchi (uno di questi lo adoro davvero) hanno presentato stupende pellicce per la Primavera, ma, personalmente, le trovo davvero esagerate. E’ pur vero che la moda, ormai, non ha più regole, (le calze, come dice la mia amica PATTI, ormai vanno buttate anche a Dicembre, gli UGG sono perfetti per andare in spiaggia ad Agosto e la seta è il materiale più venduto in inverno), ma la pelliccia d’estate proprio non mi piace. C’è il sole, facciamoci riscaldare da lui e, al limite, un trench o un giubbottino di pelle per le serate più fresche.

DAUGHTER
(for those who, like Fiammetta, is waiting for Spring and has a whole and colorful wardrobe to wear –  per chi, come Fiammetta, aspetta la Primavera ed ha tutto un armadio coloratissimo da indossare)

YES TO:

• THE MIX OF PRINTS, I repeat here as well. DARE. Combine together all the prints you want and not be afraid. What I like most? FLOWERS with STRIPES. Super chic and super glam. Trust me! Beautiful also the polka dots with the  animal prints. Match, create, have fun, everything is at maturity, remember…;-)
• IL MIX DI FANTASIE, te lo ripeto anche qui. OSA. Abbina tra loro tutte le fantasie che vuoi e non avere paura. Quella che più mi piace? FIORI con RIGHE. Super chic e super glam. Fidati!!! Bellissimo anche pois e animalier. Abbina, crea, divertiti, tutto è a scadenza, ricordalo…;-)

• THE K-WAY, essential in this period of the year when it is not definitely hot, but we can, now, put away the down jacket. I find them amusing, practical, easy to clean and, in the warm colors of the sun, will give to your child a look healthy and “young” … ;-). They are everywhere around, find what you like and match it with everything, even with skirt and flat shoes.
• IL K-WAY, fondamentale in questo periodo dell’anno in cui ancora non è definitivamente caldo, ma possiamo, oramai, riporre il piumino. Io li trovo divertenti, pratici, facilmente lavabili e, nei colori caldi del sole, daranno alla tua bambina un look sano e “giovane”…;-). Ce ne sono ovunque in giro, trovo quello che più ti piace ed abbinalo con tutto, anche con gonna e ballerine.

• THE DENIM SKIRT, trivial? No, required. Every year in Spring your child has needs, and need I say, a new, more perfect denim skirt. An evergreen, to wear and wear and wear. With the sweatshirt (another MUST HAVE) and sneakers for a casual look, with printed blouse/shirt and baby shoes for a look more “tea party” with her friends. Needless to say, you can find it everywhere.
• LA GONNA DI JEANS,  banale? No, necessaria. Ogni anno a Primavera la tua bambina ha necessità, e dico necessità, di una nuova, sempre perfetta gonna di jeans. Un evergreen, da indossare e indossare e indossare. Con la felpa (altro MUST HAVE) e le sneakers per un look informale, con blusa/camicina in fantasia e bebè per un look più da  “festicciola” con le amiche. Inutile dire che la puoi trovare ovunque.

NO TO:

• THE LITTE BAG, for the needs of your daughters (tissues, the jungle book, the Peppa Pig mobile phone) you are perfect, do these two things will stay in your bag, don’t they??? Do not send out her as a mini fashion victim with the inspired chanelshoulder bag or a bow equipped little bag. This is not the time.
• LA BORSETTA, per le necessità della tua bambina (fazzolettini, il libro della giungla, il cellulare di Peppa Pig) pensaci tu, ti entraranno nella borsa queste due cosette?? Non la mandare in giro come una mini vittima della moda con tracollina simil chanel o con una borsetta fiocco munita. Non è ancora il tempo.

• THE SANDALS, this sun will come, I know, but at the moment, keep your daughter’s foot still closed in shoes or it will be useless for you to pay the kindergarten in the next month … ;-). I know, you want to buy a nice new pair of shoes in the colours of the sun, I’ve go it toot, but I think a pair of colorful flat shoes and a pair of sneakers in a light colour, can go really well.
• I SANDALI, uscirà questo sole, lo so, ma, per adesso, tieni il piede della tua bambina ancora chiuso dentro le scarpe o sarà inutile che tu paghi la retta dell’asilo per il prossimo mese…;-). Lo so, hai voglia di comprarle un bel paio di scarpette nuove nelle nuances del sole, anch’io ce l’ho, ma credo che un paio di ballerine colorate ed un paio di sneakers chiare possano andare benissimo.

• THE SWAROSKI EVERYWHERE, I confess, I’m not a lover of swarosky and they do not love me. I mean, it is ok for some little “diamond”scattered here and there on a t-shirt, on the sneakers (note, I said sneakers), on the inside pocket of her jeans, but it is not ok for a cascade of stones scattered for all of her clothes tou will make wear to your daughter. It is Spring, we have to lighten up, ok??
• GLI SWAROSKI A PIOGGIA, lo confesso, non sono un’amante degli swaroski e loro non lo sono di me. Nel senso, vada pure per qualche brillantino sparso qua e là su una maglietta, sulle sneakers (attenzione, ho detto sneakers), sulla tasca interna dei jeans, ma non può andare per una cascata di pietruzze sparse per tutti i capi che farai indossare alla tua bambina. E’ Primavera, dobbiamo alleggerire, ok?? 

SON
(for those who, like her sister, is waiting for the Spring and for wearing (even against your opinion) all the colors of the sun-  per chi, come la sorella,  è in attesa della Primavera e di indossare (anche contro il tuo parere) tutti i colori del sole)

YES TO: 

• THE VERY COLORFUL T-SHIRT, yesssss, wonderful for your boy. Go, let him wearing yellow, pink (males in pink are fantastic), green. Do not be afraid, your child will receive joy from these tones and he will be perfectly in tune with nature that blooms. They match with everything, even with prints.
• LE T-SHIRT COLORATISSIME, sìììììì, meravigliose anche per il tuo maschietto. Avanti, fallo vestire di giallo, di rosa (i maschi col rosa sono fantastici), di verde. Non temere, il tuo bambino riceverà allegria da questi toni e sarà perfettamente in tono con la natura che risboccia. Si abbinano con tutto, anche con le stampe.

• THE CHECKERED TROUSERS, while I advice for his sister flowers or stripes, for your child I can see very well a nice pair of checkered trousers. If you think they make too autumn, look them in linen or in light cotton, and look for them in shades of yellow or green, and you’ll see that you’ll love them immediately. They are perfect with white sneakers, sweater round neck and polo shirt.
• I PANTALONI A QUADRI, mentre per la sorella consiglio i fiori o le righe, per il tuo bambino vedo benissimo un bel paio di pantaloni  a quadri. Se ti sembra che facciano troppo autunno, guardali nei materiali come il lino o il cotone leggero e cercali nei toni del giallo o del verde e vedrai che te ne innamorerai subito. Perfetti con sneakers bianche, maglioncino paricollo e polo.

• THE DENIM JACKET, skirt for the sister, jacket for the brother. The denim reminds immediately Spring, it makes you want to go out, it’s good for the mom, who believes that it is beautiful (even more beautiful) a little dirty with grass or fruit. Wash it? And why do they invent the vintage?? If it is still a little cold, ad on a jacket without sleeves, and the result will be perfect.
• IL GIUBBOTTO DI JEANS, gonna per la sorella, giubbotto per il fratello. Il denim fa subito Primavera, fa voglia di stare fuori, fa piacere alla mamma, la quale ritiene che sia bellissimo (anzi più bello) un pò sporco di erba o di frutta. Lavarlo?? Ed il vintage che lo hanno inventato a fare??? Se fa ancora un pò freddo, aggiungi sopra un piumino senza maniche ed il risultato sarà perfetto. 

NO TO:

• THE SHORTS, it is still a little bit early, is not it? You will want to dress him less, and I understand that, but I do not understand do not dress him at all. Opt for a pair of pants like fleece, but lighter, or a classic, normal, trousers of cotton. Maybe colorful and perhaps the long ones.
• GLI SHORTS, è leggermente ancora un pò presto, non credi?? Hai voglia di vestirlo meno, e questo lo capisco, ma non vestirlo affatto, questo non lo capisco. Opta per un paio di pantaloni tipo felpa, ma leggeri, o un classico, normalissimo, pantalone di cotone. Magari colorato e magari lungo.

• THE VERY BIG BELT, attention, it is Spring, you begin to remove the mega sweaters and it begins to glimpse what lies beneath. If your son’s pants are slightly loose (which I understand, as they must be comfortable), there are the internal buttons that hold, or at least, a small rope belt in natural colors. The time of El Charro is over, ok? I find, then, that they are also uncomfortable for a child to run and have fun.
• I MEGA CINTURONI, attenzione, è Primavera, si iniziano a togliere i mega maglioni e si inzia ad intravedere cosa c’è sotto. Se i pantaloni di tuo figlio sono leggermente larghi (cosa che capisco benissimo, visto che devono stare comodi), esistono i bottoni interni che stringono o, al limite, una piccola cinturina di corda nei colori naturali. E’ finito il tempo di El Charro, ok?? Trovo, poi, che siano anche scomodi per un bambino che deve correre e divertirsi.

• THE BLACK LEATHER JACKET, while I think it is perfect for us mom, I do not like it for children. Not at all. For males, then, I also find it exaggerated. The skin, black more than ever, is not suited to our little males, it makes them just little thugs and it is not practical. K-way, denim jacket, parka unlined, light jacket, in short, what you want, but not black leather. If you just can not resist, buy it in neutral colors (beige or gray) and add under it a vest jeans, it will make it a little more sporty.
• IL GIUBBOTTO DI PELLE NERA, mentre trovo che sia perfetto per noi mamma, proprio non mi piace per i bambini. Proprio no. Per i maschi, poi, lo trovo anche quasi esagerato. La pelle, nera più che mai, non si addice ai nostri piccoli ometti, li rende subito piccoli teppisti e non è nemmeno pratica. K-way, giubbotto di jeans, parka sfoderato, piumino leggero, insomma, quello he vuoi, ma non la pelle nera. Se proprio non puoi resistere, acquistalo nei colori neutri (beige o grigio chiaro) ed aggiungi sotto un gilet di jeans, lo renderà un pò più sportivo.

One last tip for ALL: GO LEFT TO THE COLORFUL IMMAGINATION. In every sense, I mean, because about patterns, prints, colorful games and bright tones we are talking in this Spring 2013. PLAY with your child, show him the colors of the sun, of the fields, of the will to live. It’s up to you!

Un ultimo consiglio per TUTTI: LASCIATI ANDARE ALLA FANTASIA. In tutti i sensi, intendo, perchè di fantasie, di stampe, di giochi colorati e di nuances accese si parla in questa Primavera 2013. GIOCA con il tuo bambino, mostragli i colori del sole, dei prati, della voglia di vivere. Tocca a te!!
