P.S.: Questo FIAMMISAYS lo dedico ad UNA PERSONA SPECIALE. Una persona che ha combattuto una battaglia oltre fronte. Una battaglia nella quale si parte già perdenti, la più dura battaglia che una donna possa affrontare. Ma che la sta vincendo lo stesso quella battaglia, grazie ad una famiglia meravigliosa, grazie a tutti quelli che la amano, grazie, soprattutto, a lei. Perché lei è una persona pura, una persona con un cuore immenso, una persona che non può che essere amata.
La dedico a te questa rubrica di Agosto. E tu lo sai che dico a te. Te che mi dici sempre: “Simo, prima ci guardi uscire di casa e poi fai i tuoi no??!!”. La dedico a te, perché sei la più fashion di tutte invece, perché quel sorriso là, nonostante tutto, è l’unica cosa che è sempre davvero alla moda. Ti voglio bene. Buona Vacanza.

PS: This FIAMMISAYS is dedicated to A SPECIAL PERSON. A person who has fought a battle over the front. A battle in which you are already losers, the hardest battle which any woman can face. But this person is winning the battle, thanks to a wonderful family, thank you to all those who love her, thanks above all to her. Because she is a pure person, a person with a huge heart, a person who can not be loved.

per chi, come me, ha bisogno di vacanza come non mai e vuole solo pensare al relax e a sentirsi a suo agio – for those who, like me, need to vacation as never and just wants to relax and think about feeling comfortable

LE CIABATTE, sempre. Anche di sera. Non intendo le infradito (anche se, visto il mio momento di totale e completa stanchezza, non sarebbero poi così fuori luogo anche una festa super chic), ma tutte quelle ciabatte e ciabattine (comprese le slip-on) che regnano sovrane nei nostri look da giorno nei periodi estivi. Perfette con gli SHORTS in DENIM durante le ore calde e altrettanto adatte per le sere di agosto con vestiti lunghi e mini clutch o con tute e maxi bag. In più, e da non sottovalutare, prendono molto meno spazio in valigia rispetto ai sandali con tacco e ce ne puoi mettere sette o otto paia senza problemi… 😉 Poi, comunque, lo spazio in valigia per un tacco 12 rimane sempre e comunque.

THE SLIPPERS, always. Even in the evening. I do not mean flip-flops (although, given my moment of complete and utter exhaustion, so they would not be out of place even for a super chic party), but all those sandals and slippers (including slip-on) that reign supreme in our look by day during the summer. Perfect with DENIM SHORTS during the hot hours and equally suited for the evenings of August with long dresses and mini clutch, or suit and maxi bag. In addition, and not to be underestimated, they take up much less space in your suitcase than the heeled sandals and we can put seven or eight pairs without problems … 😉 Then, however, there is always a space in your suitcase for a heel 12.
- LA STAMPA HAWAIIAN-TROPICAL, tutta coloratissima, allegra, super estiva. Palme, pappagalli, fiori esotici e colori accesi prendono il posto di righe e pois (che io ADORO sempre e comunque, e si sa) e ci regalano un Agosto allegro e frizzante. Tutto, comunque, con moderazione e con buon gusto. Le stampe devono essere armoniche, i colori adeguati. Con questa piccola attenzione, quindi, via libera a costumi con palme, gonne fiorite, t-shirt piene di frutta e maglioncini con uccelli del paradiso che danzano sereni. Magari non proprio tutto insieme, ok?
- THE HAWAIIAN TROPICAL PRINT, all colorful, cheerful, super summer. Palm trees, parrots, exotic flowers and bright colors take the place of stripes and polka dots (which I ALWAYS LOVE and you know) and give us a cheerful and bubbly August. All, however, with moderation and good taste. The prints must be harmonious, the colors must be appropriate. With this little attention, therefore, go with bikini with palm trees, flowered skirts, t-shirts and full of fruit and sweaters with birds of paradise dancing serene. Maybe not everything together, okay?

IL COSTUME A FASCIA, perfetto per noi mamme per non dover slacciare/allacciare/slacciare di nuovo/allacciare velocemente/slacciare per un attimo di pace/riallacciare immediatamente il bambino si sta tuffando nel mare forza 9…almeno un trilione di volte all’ora. Via con la fascia, quindi, e tutto sarà davvero una passeggiata. Ottima quella con balza anteriore per lasciare spazio anche all’immaginazione (cosa si nasconderà li sotto??). Io ne ho preso uno nero, anche se sfina, ma, visto il livello di abbronzatura praticamente pari ad un geco albino, non ne vedevo l’alternativa. La fascia è carina anche come top per andare al mare con shorts o gonne di tutte le lunghezze, anche super lunghe.

THE BANDEAU BIKINI, perfect for us moms to avoid having to unfasten/fasten/unfasten/again quickly fasten/unfasten for a moment of peace/fasten immediately the baby is plunging into the sea force 9 … at least a trillion times per hour. - I JEANS DISTRUTTI, e non inveite tutte insieme!!!!! Lo so che vi piacciono e per un nanosecondo sono piaciuti anche a me, poi sono tornata alla ragione. Ti piace davvero andare in giro con un paio di jeans completamente sbranati dall’inguine fino al malleolo nella parte anteriore? E mi chiedo, quei brandelli che spenzolano, urtano contro la coscia durante una normale camminata, o vanno indossati solo per farsi un selfie e rimessi, subito dopo, nell’armadio?? Io sono mamma, e non me la sento. Sono di gran moda, lo so, ma io preferisco altro. Un paio di shorts, molto più volentieri. Un paio di jeans un po’ strappati, perché no. Ma il distroyed non fa per me.

- I COLLARI, di giorno intendo. E’ inutile che compri il costume a fascia per non farti venire i segni e indossi, poi, un girocollo dorato con estensioni che arrivano fino alla vita…non solo sono leggermente in contrasto con la tua idea di abbronzatura, ma stridono anche con il momento. LESS id BETTER, specialmente in spiaggia. Indossa solo i tuo costume ed un foulard di seta in testa. I collari lasciali per la sera o per momenti migliori.
- THE COLLARS, during the day I mean. per chi, come Fiammetta, non vede l’ora di stare un pò serena con i suoi genitori e vuole solo essere in armonia con il mondo– for those who, like Fiammetta, can not wait to be a bit serene with her parents and just wants to be in harmony with the world.
- LA SALOPETTE, ce ne sono di veramente carinissime in giro e davvero per tutti i gusti. Saranno di gran moda anche il prossimo anno, quindi vai tranquilla… Adatte sia al giorno con ciabattine e cappello, sia per la sera con sandalini e cerchietto. Carinissima corta per un look sportivo, super chic quella lunga, magari a righe. Unico problema…quando scappa la pipì…;-)

- GLI OCCHIALI, esiste anche per i bambini un mondo super glam e vastissimo di occhiali contro i raggi del sole. E per loro ancor di più, è veramente importante comprare delle lenti buone che siano in grado di proteggere i loro occhi delicati. In giro ce ne sono di tutte le forme e colori. Scegli quello che più si adatta a tua figlia e, magari, falli scegliere a lei. Sarà un momento divertente provarli insieme e farla sentire davvero partecipe.

E la tua bambina sarà davvero in armonia con il caldo del sole e sarà anche davvero alla moda. Questi sono i colori dell’estate 2014 per le nostre principesse e non potrai certo partire senza un vestitino arancione o un top giallo limone. Abbinali con tutto, sia con i colori neutri, che con i pastello e, anche, tra loro.

O no?? Che ne dici di pois, fiori, righe, stampe geometriche, tinte unite, la Pimpa, Cenerentola, Violetta (o chi per lei), le Winx, le stelle, la luna, il rosso, il nudismo?? Ecco, qualcosa di alternativo lo troviamo, no?? E allora mandiamo in vacanza per qualche mese anche la povera, stanca, bisognosa di riposa PEPPA PIG.
- PEPPA PIG: wait, wait ….. we too have adored her and also we have a beautiful all pink bikini with our super friend printed above, but now we want to give space to others. Or not? How about polka dots, flowers, stripes, geometric prints, plain colors, the Pimp, Cinderella, Violetta (or anyone for her), the Winx, stars, moon, red, nudism? Here, could we find something different, right? And then we can let her to go on vacation for a few months; PEPPA PIG is really tired and in need of rest.

LE ZEPPE, punto. Credi che tua figlia (o meglio la caviglia di tua figlia) si trovi davvero a suo agio a camminare con un paio di zeppe ai piedi?? Se lei ha più di 12 anni, vai direttamente al punto successivo, altrimenti pensa bene. Nemmeno noi (io specialmente) siamo al sicuro da storte e distorsione quando ci infiliamo un paio di seppe, figuriamoci le nostre bambine. Dai, pensa ancora un minuto e corri a comprarle un paio di favolose ciabattine….
- THE WEDGE, that’s it. Do you think your daughter (or rather the ankle of your daughter) is really comfortable to walk with a pair of wedges?? If she has more than 12 years, go directly to the next step, otherwise think about it. We neither (myself especially) are safe from crooked and distorted when we ran a couple of wedges, let alone our children. Come on, think for a minute and run to buy a fabulous pair of slippers ….
- IL SOLE SENZA PROTEZIONE. E questo dovrebbe valere per ogni età, per ogni sesso. Figuriamoci per i nostri bambini. Una buona protezione solare è la prima cosa che dovrebbe entrate nelle nostre valigie, per il mare, per la montagna, per il lago, per la città. Ed è anche l’unica cosa che si abbina con tutto….Protezione solare tre volte al giorno, un cappello, un paio di occhiali, un costume, un secchiello, sei palette, dodici formine e tutto il nostro amore per loro.
- THE SUN WITHOUT PROTECTION. And this should be true for every age, for each sex. More for our children. IL COSTUME PADRE – FIGLIO, lo trovo davvero super chic (e non solo perché, CAFFELATTEACOLAZIONE ed io, ne abbiamo realizzato un modello che è davvero piaciuto tanto), ma, soprattutto, perché PADRE e FIGLIO vestiti simili mi fanno veramente un sacco di tenerezza. Mi vengono in mente le cose pure della vita, i rapporti eterni, la voglia di assomigliare, la voglia di diventare come un mito, come un eroe. Molto più che MAMMA e FIGLIA, dove, spesso e purtroppo, la voglia di assomigliare diventa solo voglia di sterile emulazione.
- THE FATHER – SON SWIMSUIT, I find it really super chic (and not only because, CAFFELATTEACOLAZIONE and I have developed a model that has been really loved), but, more importantly, because FATHER and SON with similar clothes really make me a lot of tenderness. I can think the pure things of life, the eternal relationships, the desire to look like, the desire to become like a myth, as a hero. Much more than MOM and DAUGHTER, where, often, and unfortunately, the desire to to look like, just becomes sterile emulation.
- IL VERDE e IL CELESTE, meglio se insieme. Il vero MUST (anche se ormai lo sai già) di questa Estate 2014 è l’abbinamento super chic del CELESTE e del VERDE. Scegli tu come e dove. Magliette azzurre con bermuda verdi, pantaloni azzurri come il cielo con scarpe verde bosco, costumi blu e bandane verdi pisello. Insomma, libera la tua fantasia e metti insieme questi due colori. Il tuo maschietto ringrazierà…
- THE GREEN and BLUE, preferably together. The real MUST (even though by now you already know) of this Summer 201 is the combination of super chic BLUE and GREEN. You choose how and where. Light blu t-shirts with green shorts, sky blue trousers with forest green shoes, pea green bandanas with blue swimsuit. So, unleash your imagination and put together these two colors. LA STAMPA FIORITA, anche per lui. Io la trovo meravigliosa e raffinata. Io adoro i bermuda a fiori da indossare con magliette un po’ vintage con poche scritte e anche un po’ scolorite. Una ciabatta, un foulard ed il tuo bambino sarà davvero super chic. Sempre perfettI anche i costumi con la stampa a fiori, o i cappelli da indossare con pantaloni cargo color caki, t-shirt bianca e le sue sneakers preferite.
- THE FLOWERED PRINT, even for him. I find it wonderful and refined. I love the floral shorts to wear with a little vintage t-shirts with a few written and even a little faded. A slippers, a scarf and your child will be really super chic. Also the floral print swimsuit are perfect, or hats to wear with khaki-colored cargo pants, white t-shirt and his favorite sneakers.

IL COSTUME DI SPIDERMAN, lo so che sono mamma di femmina e non posso arrivare a comprendere, lo so. Ma proprio non comprendo. Specialmente se quel costume di Spiderman è anche elasticizzato ed in materiale infiammabile. Davvero non comprendo. Non c’è proprio nient’altro che possa piacere anche a lui? Magari promettendogli in cambio una vacanza, il prossimo anno, direttamente a casa di Spiderman?? Un semplice slip colorato andrà benissimo, o un boxer in cotone, magari proprio a fiori o tutto blu sarebbe davvero il massimo…

THE SPIDERMAN SWIMSUIT, I know I am a female mom and that I can not come to understand, I know. But I just do not understand. IL SOPRA e IL SOTTO ABBINATI, se scegli una maglietta con un supereroe (visto che ti sei dovuta liberare del costume), opta per pantaloncini tinta unita, se scegli i pantaloncini della sua squadra del cuore (se proprio non puoi farne a meno e se ancora nessuno ti ha spiegato che quelli sono perfetti come pigiama), la t-shirt deve essere di cotone e di un colore solo. Vietati sopra e sotto abbinati e abbinati male poi….Permesso solo se il tuo bambino ha meno di otto mesi e se, magari, in cambio ti ha promesso tre giorni di assoluto silenzio…

Sarete entrambi più tranquilli e vi dedicherete più volentieri allo shopping da fare assolutamente, perchè avete portato con voi in vacanza solo costumi di Spiderman… 😉
- THE SUN WITHOUT PROTECTION. This is the only NO for your child. Take care of him and devotes to him five minutes of your day and put him the sunscreen. Un ultimo consiglio per TUTTI: Questo è il momento più giusto per abbandonare i pensieri, per tendere le braccia, per allargare il sorriso. Il tuo bambino vedrà questo, vedrà un mondo serene intorno a sé, vedrà la pace che si merita. Dedica il tuo tempo a chi lo ha aspettato tutto l’anno. Fallo sempre sentire a suo agio, anche per quello che vorrà indossare e, se proprio non puoi farne a meno, tira fuori dalla valigia il suo costume con supereroe/elasticizzato/infiammabile e le tue zeppe a carrarmato ma abbinale a tutto l’amore che hai.
One last tip for ALL: This is the right moment to leave your thoughts, to reach out, to widen the smile. Your child will see this, he will see a serene world around him, he will see the peace that he deserves. Spend your time for who waited it during the whole year. Make him feeling comfortable, even for what he wants to wear, and if you just can not avoid it, pulls out of the luggage his superhero swimsuit/stretch/flammable and your chancy platform wedges, but match them with all the love you have.
