MOM'S OUTFIT: BIKER BOOTS vs MARY JANE PUMP

Last Thursday I had a business appointment (remember that I’m a chartered accountant) in the late morning. As you know, recently Fiammetta started to go to kindergarten, so I, before the appointment, had to deal with, in order, the followings: wake her, wash her, dress her, take her things (a couple of backpacks and seven plush animals), take mine (two bags and other her six plush animals), struggle with the weather, put everything in the car, go to Prato from Florence South, get off all at the kindergarten, run after her through the corridors while she can not wait I’ve removed both shoes to go into the room where the other children are, try to say goodbye to her, take the car,  find an appropiate parking, get in the office, doing what I have to do and then go to the appointment. Given all this, I decided that I could not do everything with a heel 12. I slipped my dear biker boots and I easily came at the time when I took them off and I wore the “serious shoes” (my job requires it) that I had brought with me (one more bag…..) and I’m arrived fresh as a daisy at the appointment …. ;-). Once finished it, I took them off and…done! … Here’s my two outfits … What do you think????

Giovedi scorso avevo un appuntamento di lavoro (ti ricordo che sono una commercialista) a fine mattinata. Come sai, da poco Fiammetta ha iniziato ad andare all’asilo, quindi io, prima dell’appuntamento, dovevo affrontare, nell’ordine, le seguenti cose: svegliarla, lavarla, vestirla, prendere le sue cose (un paio di zainetti e sette pelouche), prendere le mie (due borse ed altri sei pelouche suoi), lottare con le intemperie, infilare tutto in macchina, andare a Prato da Firenze Sud, scaricare tutto all’asilo, correrle dietro per i corridoi mentre lei non può spettare che le abbia tolto tutte e due le scarpe per infilarsi nella stanza dove ci sono tutti gli altri bambini, cercare di salutarla, riprendere la macchina, trovare un parcheggio consono, arrivare in studio, fare quello che vedo fare e poi recarmi all’appuntamento. Considerato tutto ciò ho deciso che non potevo fare tutto con un tacco 12. Mi sono infilata i miei cari biker boots e sono agilmente arrivata all’ora in cui li ho tolti e sono passata alle “scarpe serie” (il mio lavoro me lo impone) che avevo portato con me (borsa più, borsa meno) e sono arrivata fresca come una rosa all’appuntamento….;-). Una volta finito le ho tolte e via…ecco qua i miei due outfit…che ne pensi???
