Day 220 – "MOMMADE" KNITTED DRESS

Today I go by granny Paola and my mom has decided to get me to wear this sweater (which is, in fact, a dress) that she made ​​and embroidered all by herself two years ago. I was 4 months and she liked to put me in the baby sling (she says that I was good everywhere) and, while I slept blessed, she was “knitting” and, with the invaluable help of my granny, learning to knit! In fact, she did only that, she went back to work after a while and she did not have much time left. The first year was a too big DRESS, the second a too small DRESS, now it is a perfect SWEATER. Who knows what the granny will say…. she will remember with pleasure … here it is…

Oggi vado dalla nonna Paola e la mamma ha deciso di farmi indossare questo golfino (che poi è un vestito) che lei ha fatto e ricamato a mano  tutto da sola due anni fa. Io avevo 4 mesi e lei si divertiva a mettermi nel marsupio (dice che io stavo ovunque) e, mentre io dormivo beata, lei “sferruzzava” e, con il prezioso aiuto della mia nonna, imparava a fare la maglia!! In realtà ha fatto solo questo, ha ripreso a lavorare dopo poco e non ha avuto più molto tempo. Il primo anno era un VESTITO troppo grande, il secondo un VESTITO troppo piccolo, adesso è un MAGLIONCINO perfetto. Chissà che dirà la nonna…si ricorderà con piacere…ecco qua…
