IL GUFO e LA LANA

Quando si parla de IL GUFO si fa sempre riferimento alla sartorialità, all’eleganza, al taffetà, ai materiali più pregiati.
Qualcuno ha avuto la fortuna, comunque, di scoprire che IL GUFO non è solo questo. IL GUFO è anche attenzione al quotidiano, al cotone, alla lana, alle cose da sporcare.
Io sono stata una di queste fortunate che, nel giorno del loro company day, tenutosi nella fantastica azienda di Asolo, ha avuto l’opportunità e la possibilità di ascoltare le parole della Sig.ra Giovanna Miletti, fondatrice e Presidente del marchio.
Quelle parole hanno avuto per tutto il tempo il profumo della vera passione, della vera dedizione, della storia. Una storia che sa di favola, che ognuno di noi vorrebbe vivere. Una storia che porta una mamma a decidere di ricamare qualche bavaglino in casa ed a fondare, dopo che quei bavaglini vengono riconosciuti come unici, l’azienda che IL GUFO è oggi.
Tutto con estrema naturalezza, perchè l’amore, si sa, smuove le montagne. E quelle di Asolo sono davvero bellissime.
In questa giornata che ha lasciato le bocche aperte, ho anche scoperto qualcosa di nuovo, qualcosa che tutte noi mamme dovremmo sapere. Lo sai che la LANA, tessuto utilizzato fin dai tempi antichi, aiuta anche i nostri bambini? Lo sai che la lana aiuta a dormire meglio e anche più a lungo?? Lo so a cosa stai pensando….se me lo avessero detto prima…. un pigiamino, una coperta di lana direttamente a contatto con la pelle (di quelle buone intendo) e, magari, il mio bambino avrebbe dormito meglio e qualche ora in più.
Può sembrare strano, ma gli studi lo confermano. I ricercatori e le più prestigiose Università del mondo come l’Università di Sidney in Australia hanno dimostrato che la lana è una fibra dai benefici davvero straordinari, anche sui nostri bambini. L’utilizzo della lana nelle biancheria da letto, inoltre, migliora davvero il riposo.

On this day that has left open mouths, I also discovered something new, something that all of us moms should know. Do you know that the wool used since ancient times, also helps our children? Did you know that wool also helps them to sleep better and longer? I know what you’re thinking …. if I had known it before….. a pajamas, a wool blanket in direct contact with the skin (the good ones I mean) and maybe my baby would have slept better and a few more hours.
